NOTICE  

of  

SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING 

for Aged Care Queensland members 

to be held at 6 Pavilions Close, JINDALEE 

3.00pm Wednesday 1 September 2010

The Aged Care Queensland Inc Board has authorized the calling of a special general meeting of all members for the purposes of voting on amendments to the existing constitution of the association. 

Members should note the following;

• To vote, the member organization must be a paid member of the association
• Each member will receive one vote for this meeting
• A quorum will consist of 30 members or more
• For each amendment to pass it will require a vote of 75% or more in favor
• Proxies are permitted, however they must

1. be in writing,
2. be signed by the appointee
3. be presented to the Secretary prior to the meeting for confirmation

• Only full members are able to vote

Member representatives will receive proxy forms and ballot papers prior to the meeting.
