New Minister for Ageing

Federal Cabinet was announced on Saturday afternoon with Mark Butler being appointed Mental Health & Ageing. Following her request for new responsibilities, Justine Elliot, former Minister of Health & Ageing has moved to Parliamentary Secretary for Trade and Foreign Affairs. Mark Butler previously was Parliamentary Secretary for Health and has performed well in this area. We look forward to him bringing this knowledge to Aged Care. Copy of the full ministry is attached, it is expected they will be sworn in on Monday. |
