With the Henry Tax Review in the media spotlight, now is the time to get some insight into the potential impacts on our industry, particularly the impact on the Non-profit sector.

 Professor Myles McGregor-Lowndes OAM, will provide the latest updates on this important tax review as well as update us on:

• Senate Committee on Economics enquiry into disclosure regimes for non-profits; and
• Updating us on the latest on the Productivity Commission review  of the non-profit sector

Our second speaker, Mr Simon McCabe from Carbon Planet Australia will help demystify the issues surrounding carbon reduction and provide some insight into how we as business operators can look to get some benefit out of the new focus on climate change and carbon reduction targets.

This is one area we cannot afford to ignore, while the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS)/Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS) in their current formats were defeated in parliament, there is no doubt that the Government will continue to push for an alternative scheme that will inevitably complicate and add further challenges to an industry that is already over-burdened with compliance issues.The presentations can be viewed by clicking here
