Deputy President, ACQ Board; General Manager, BallyCara Retirement Complex

Marcus Riley has been involved in the aged care industry since 1994.  As General Manager of BallyCara, he oversees the organisation’s retirement village and residential aged care operations. He also holds the honour of being the youngest-ever Director of the Queensland Hibernian Friendly Society Ltd, the not-for-profit organisation and benevolent institution that owns and operates BallyCara.

Marcus has a long association with ACQ. He has served as the Queensland representative during the Association’s involvement in the national accreditation scheme for retirement villages (ARVA Scheme), he is the Chair of ACQ’s Accreditation Committee and he is an active member of the Association’s Retirement Living Committee.

During his time on the Board, Marcus has worked hard to champion innovative practices and approaches to advancing our industry.
