ARVA Scheme

Retirement Village Accreditation Scheme

The Australian Retirement Village Accreditation (ARVA) Scheme encourages Village operators and Managers to efficiently and with
confidence seek administrative and operational ‘best practice’.  It is available to all Queensland registered Villages, Members and non-members of ACQ.

ACQ and the Retirement Villages Association Ltd (RVA) developed the national Retirement Village Accreditation Scheme, now
known as the ARVA Scheme.

It is the Operator’s responsibility to obtain and maintain accreditation within two years of
being registered with the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) as a Retirement Village (refer to Residential Services
Accreditation Regulations Q 2002).

An application kit for accreditation, including an electronic copy of the Handbook can be accessed via the following links
